With the release of TPControl iOS v2.7.16.52, users are encountering a crash issue on launch after update or fresh install. This issue is due to the UI file not being processed correctly on first launch. 

To fix this issue, go to Settings>TPControl>Developer Settings>UI File options and select "Reprocess UI file". Launch the app and the app should now launch.
