We recommend that the AMX installer/integrator who installed your AMX system manages your TPControl licenses and devices. The installers have the best understanding of your system and are usually the only people who can help with wider system issues, or making updates to the system and devices.
In the event that the original installers are no longer able to support your system, or they still support you, but you want to manage the TPControl devices yourself, you can take ownership of the licenses. This will allow you to perform license deauthorizations to move a license to a new device, perform TPCloud updates to load new settings and updated UI files, or any other changes or updates to TPControl that the installers would typically do on your behalf.
To be able to self manage your TPControl licenses, first you will need to create a TPControl account. Once you have created an account, you will then need to have the TPControl licenses transferred to your account. If you know the license keys (token) that you own, you can request a token transfer from TPCloud. This will send the request to the current license owner who will need to approve the transfer of the license to your account. If the person who manages your licenses is no longer available to approve the transfer, please contact our support team for assistance. We will require proof of ownership that you as the end user, purchased the licenses via the installer/integrator before we can move the licenses to your account.
You will also need a copy of the TP4/TP5 UI file, and we also strongly recommend you also have copies of the AMX source code files for your system. These will need to be provided to you by the installers.
If you have the licenses under your own account, and a copy of all the necessary files for self management, please check out our documentation specific to your TPControl device to learn how to use our TPCloud platform and configure the device settings
