TPControl supports French, Arabic and other languages that include special characters. Firstly, you need to create the TP4 file in TPDesign4 using the correct system locale/language for the Windows operating system you are using. We recommend reviewing 'TPDesign4 -> Help' for further information, or contacting AMX Support for more details.
The main challenge will be if you want to parse text from the device to NetLinx code. However, TPControl supports UNICODE/UTF-8 encoding, so relevant strings can be decoded in NetLinx code as required.
